18 July A Case of the Mondays?So
yesterday I did make it out to see Bewitched - not terrible - but
definitely a "Rental" and not something worthy of an in-theater viewing. I did something slightly obnoxious and brought a digital camera with me to Sawgrass - my intention was to document the interesting wardrobe habits of Floridians. Unfortunately my camera is quite old and thus large - I couldn't figure out a way to take the photos w/out getting bitch-slapped. Maybe I should have bought a camera phone afterall. Speaking of which, I do need to invest in a new cell phone - it seems that after about 2 years mine is calling it quits. Either that or Sprint is selling off their cell towers because I can't get a signal hardly at all anymore. On the good news front, Sony sent me the new PSP today (I called to ensure it's a new one and not the old one - it was so quick on the turnaround I was skeptical) - on the bad news front my apartment complex office decided that they couldn't quite stay there until 6 P.M. as their sign on the door states and so I'll have to wait until tomorow to find out if this thing is packaged well enough for me to sell it on eBay. So today I worked 12 hours - 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. - and it's only Monday - Yikes! And yet as tired as I am on the 25-mile drive home, I still drive 100 times better than most of these people around here. And don't be fooled, it's not just the geezers driving saddled between 2 lanes or slamming on the brakes when no one is in front of them, or switching back and forth between lanes without a directional signal, or not using headlights at night, etc. it seems that for the most part it's women drivers - on the cell phone. What does it mean to be a woman and hate women drivers? Frightening. Nap time.
